Scop Escriba enhances precision and productivity with HACO EuroMaster and laser cutting system

20 febbraio 2026

A workshop rooted in craftsmanship

Scop Escriba has specialized in custom stainless steel fabrication since 1993, serving professional kitchens, industrial clients, and private projects. From designing bespoke kitchens for restaurants and collectives to producing structural components for agro-industry, medical, and environmental sectors, the company handles a wide variety of projects from its Hagetmau workshop.

“Our work is entirely made to measure. Every plate, tube, and assembly is designed and produced according to the client’s specifications,” explains Jean-Yves Dupont, Managing Director and Head of Production. The workshop operates with around fifteen skilled technicians, supported by an internal design office that develops and validates every fabrication before production.

Recognizing the challenge

Despite decades of experience, a diagnostic in a ‘factory of the future’ program revealed limitations in laser cutting and bending capabilities. “We realized that to meet increasingly complex orders, we needed machines that could handle larger sheets and tubes and deliver precise, repeatable bends,” says Jean-Yves.

Finding the right solution

To explore options, Scop Escriba attended the Global Industries trade show in 2024, meeting multiple suppliers and testing the latest technologies. “We already trusted HACO because of our guillotine. Their reliability made it easier to commit to a larger investment,” Jean-Yves recalls.

The first machine acquired was a combined laser for sheets and tubes. “It allows us to cut sheets up to 3 meters and tube profiles with exact precision. The fiber laser power was chosen specifically to handle all the thicknesses we use daily,” he adds.

The second investment, a HACO EuroMaster S40250 press brake, 4 meters long with 250 tons, expanded their bending capacity and introduced an intuitive CNC interface. “Programming directly from our design office through HACOBEND Pro saves time and ensures accuracy. We can now produce crushed folds and precise angles with minimal setup,” explains Jean-Yves.

Precision in practice

Bending angle accuracy was a key improvement. “The digital angle gauge connects directly to the CNC. Each measurement is reintegrated automatically, correcting bends in real time,” he says. Installation and commissioning went smoothly with HACO technicians supporting the team on-site. “Modernizing the workshop was a challenge, but training and guidance made it manageable. Operators quickly gained confidence with the new tools.”

Results and looking forward

Production is now faster, more precise, and easier to schedule. “We can take on larger, more complex projects while keeping quality consistent,” says Jean-Yves. The integration of the EuroMaster and laser cutting system allows Scop Escriba to optimize sheet and tube workflows, maintaining their standard of craftsmanship across all projects. “Every day we notice the difference in speed, precision, and confidence,” Jean-Yves concludes.
