Decoiling line - TIH

The control loop compensates for differences in movement between the strip feed and the continuous feed required for straightening. It is fed by the straightener via a sensor, photocells or ultrasound.

It is crucial to maintain an appropriate distance between the straightener and the feeder to guarantee optimal loop operation. Excessive distance can diminish loop reserve and impact feeder performance. At the straightener exit, the strip is supported by a basket that must adhere to a minimum radius of curvature to prevent deformation. This radius is contingent upon the strength of the material and its thickness.

Decoiling lines

At Bliss-Bret, our industrial decoiling lines are designed for a wide range of material sizes. Our standard range offers strip widths from 50 to 1,000 mm and thicknesses from 0.4 to 7 mm. We can also adapt our equipment to handle a range of materials, from aluminium to very high yield strength steels.

Our decoiling lines comply with current European standards and are equipped with safety devices to ensure the protection of operators. We collaborate closely with our customers to design optimal peripheral enclosure configurations, ensuring high levels of productivity and ergonomics.
