As of 1 July 2026, HACO FRANCE and BLISSBRET FRANCE merge into a single legal entity: HACO BLISSBRET. This step simplifies our organisation and increases our efficiency, while preserving the distinct identity, expertise and positioning of the HACO and BLISSBRET brands.
HACO FRANCE and BLISSBRET FRANCE have been part of the HACO Group for many years. Together, they offer a comprehensive range of solutions for the metalworking industry. This merger is therefore a logical next step: it simplifies our structure and brings our French activities together within a single legal entity.
Two strong brands, one company
The creation of HACO BLISSBRET does not change the positioning of either brand. HACO remains focused on sheet metal solutions (press brakes, shears, laser cutting systems, etc.), while BLISSBRET specialises in mechanical and hydraulic presses, coil lines and customised turnkey solutions for industries including aerospace, automotive, defence and steel.
Customers can therefore continue to rely on the same specialised expertise, the same teams and the same support for both product ranges.
More than a century of expertise in press technology
BLISSBRET combines the know-how of three renowned French companies: BLISS, BRET and Normatic. BLISS and BRET have been designing and manufacturing presses in France for more than 100 years, while Normatic specialises in the design and manufacture of sheet metal feeding systems.
HACO acquired BRET and SCMB BLISS in France in 1986/1987. Since then, their expertise in mechanical and hydraulic presses has become an important part of the HACO Group’s industrial know-how.
The creation of HACO BLISSBRET marks a new chapter in this shared history: one unified French organisation, two specialised brands and the same ambition to provide customers with high-performance solutions and local service.
