Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, disciplined individual ready to build a career in one of the most demanding and rewarding industries in manufacturing. As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll learn how to combine technical understanding, customer service, and strategic selling to deliver solutions that keep machines running and production lines moving.

No experience? That’s fine — but commitment is non-negotiable. We’ll invest in your training if you bring the work ethic, focus, and willingness to learn. This is a position for those who take ownership, crave challenge, and want to grow into a respected professional in the machine tool field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and master machine tool products, accessories, and service solutions through structured training and mentorship.
  • Proactively engage manufacturing clients by phone to identify needs, discuss applications, and build long-term relationships.
  • Be confident and comfortable making and receiving calls — the phone is your most valuable tool.
  • Support customer accounts with accuracy, urgency, and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with service technicians and field sales to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Prepare quotations, assist in managing orders, and follow up on all open opportunities with persistence.
  • Maintain disciplined records of customer activity and sales data to share with Marketing.
  • Communicate with confidence and clarity — both internally and with customers.

Qualifications

  • No prior machine tool or sales experience required — training provided for the right person.
  • Strong mechanical curiosity or interest in how machines and manufacturing work.
  • Exceptional phone presence — clear communicator, comfortable talking to decision-makers, and unafraid to pick up the phone repeatedly.
  • High personal standards: punctuality, accuracy, and follow-through are mandatory.
  • Ability to learn technical information quickly and apply it effectively.
  • Resilient attitude — comfortable working under pressure and accountable for results.
  • Desire to build a long-term career in a high-performance industrial environment.
