Service Technician – Metal Forming & Industrial Equipment (USA)

Your mission is to ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining, servicing, and optimizing the performance of our industrial metalworking equipment. You will act as a key technical partner for our customers, ensuring reliable operation, preventive maintenance, and efficient troubleshooting in the field.

For over 60 years, HACO Group has been designing, manufacturing, and installing industrial machines for metal processing. Our core expertise lies in press brakes and hydraulic shears, which remain the foundation of our engineering DNA. Over time, we have expanded our portfolio to include a broader range of metalworking solutions such as lathes and milling machines, supporting a wide variety of industrial applications.

As part of the expansion of our technical service activities in the United States, we are looking for a versatile Service Technician capable of intervening on our full range of equipment, adapting to customer needs, and representing HACO with professionalism, technical excellence, and a strong service mindset.

Duties

  • Independently diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems and components in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with field service teams to resolve issues on-site.
  • Use electrical schematics to diagnose issues in the field.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
  • Install new machines (press brakes and shears) and teach customers how to use them.
  • Provide remote technical support and guidance to customers regarding their machines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working with low voltage (up to 600VAC) equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers in the field.

Skills

  • Experience with automated systems (PLC) is highly desirable.
  • Work independently very quickly after onboarding, able to learn new concepts quickly
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and mechanical principles and systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to keep excellent records of work performed, hours worked and for tracking expenses during travel.
  • Communicator, experience in technical sales is a plus, providing insight into customer needs.
  • Frequent traveler, experience with traveling through domestic airports effectively is a plus.
