2PHS250 Hydraulic press with automation for continuous production
At present, a fully automated production line is under construction. In a few months, the start-up and commissioning will take place in our factory. We are still in full communication with our client about progress and updates, so the finished product fits with their satisfaction. It is beyond doubt that finding the right solution and the clients’ satisfaction are priority.
This BLISS-BRET production line is dedicated to construct walls and roofs of cargo containers. The installation comprises a hydraulic press, two industrial robots, two picking and stacking stations and an attached CNC feeding/extracting manipulator to the press itself.
A lateral semi-automated tool exchange will be delivered to improve ergonomics and security of the operators and to optimise the machine running time.
The industrial robots are equipped with an automatic gripper change system. The number of grippers has been reduced by the use of clever adjustment systems.
These pneumatic motorised systems make it possible that the same grippers can be employed for different productions.
The press, which has a capacity of 2500 kN, is equipped with CNC feeding/extracting manipulators to perform continuous production. When a metal sheet is positioned on the support table by a picking robot, two feeding clamps will grip that plate and push it into a hydraulic press. Then a plate is formed with each press-cycle into a desired final shape.
The number of cycles is set by the operator on HMI. On the opposite side of the press two clamps of an extracting manipulator grab the shaped plate from the feeding clamps and finish the production cycle by pulling the final product onto the support table.
