BIESSE ROVER A & ROVER A-S

All of the technology and innovation from Biesse is top ar the range at an entry-level price: here is the new Rover A, the CNC machining center that meets the most demanding needs.

Rover A can process panels of different dimensionss thanks to the variety of machine sizes and improves performance in the processing of windows and doors thanks to more powerful electrospindles and a top-of-the-range system for the locking of pieces. Is suitable for artisans, small factories and prototype departments of medium to large companies.

Versions available

Rover A-S  : a complete configuration of the operating unit to meet the several demands.
Rover A 4 axes : the use of a double Z axis and the wide configuration range of operating units ensure high flexibility and high performance.
Rover A 5 axes : the new 5-axes operating unit, compact en technologically advanced, allows the machining of panels with complex shapes ensuring quality and precision.

Tool changers:
  • The rack tool changer with 10 positions can house large tools and aggregates without limiting the machine working field in X. Combined with other magazines, increases the working flexibility of the machine.
  • The chain tool changer can house larege tools and aggregates
  • Revolving tool changer with 12 places (Rover A-S) - 16 places (Rover A). Installed on the X carriage, it allows to have tools and aggregates always available therefore reducing the tool change time.

Working table: ATS - HTS - EPS

The renewed Biesse working table grants an optimal piece locking an reduced tooling time.
EPS (Electronic Positioning System) allows the entire working area to be reconfigured automatically in less than 30 seconds. It positions the panel supports and carriages using independent drives, and therefore without using the operating section. Positioning of panel supports and carriages within an area is carried out in the same time as the machine is working in the opposite area.

VACUUM SYSTEM

Vacuum system division in 1 working area and 2 locking areas along X. The machine is prearranged to be equipped until 2 vacuum pumps among these ones available. The electric and pneumatic system is dimensioned depending from the quantity and type of selected pumps.

AUXILIARY VACUUM SYSTEM

It allows the locking of pieces through special jigs.
At the end of the work cycle only the worked piece is released. The jig remains locked to the vacuum modules and a new piece can be loaded.
It includes 3 vacuum outlets in the Lh area and 3 in the Rh area.
