My first weeks as General Manager were very straightforward. My responsibility was initially to plan how we will continue growth based on the strong foundation Haco has worldwide and within the United States. I know I can count on the strong support of my colleagues around the globe.
My responsibility will be to improve the overall functionality of Haco-Atlantic, Inc., to build strong relationships with our existing customers, and to expand our dealer network. We are also improving our already well-established service department by hiring new field technicians.
The biggest challenge will be to find the right people to add additional value to our strong team. Once we have the right team in place, I want to expand our sales in the USA and Canada. Today we have a fast-pace and ever changing business environment; our team is ready for these challenges.
No doubt that this is Formula 1. Those races are the pinnacle of motorsports in my opinion. The technology use for these cars and engines is phenomenal and very interesting. Since the US GP track opened in 2012, I have been fortunate enough to travel to Austin every year to see the race.
That’s an easy question to answer. I like to listen to songs with good lyrics, songs that mean something. Those can be in different languages. But when I really want to blow off some steam I crank up the volume on music with good base.
Most likely it will be heading to a customer or to assist my sales manager in finalizing a sale. But if it’s personal, I would be heading to Belgium or Mexico.
