Our tryout presses are designed for rapid and efficient die tryout.
Special attention has been paid to protecting the machine from abrasive
projections from grinders used by the operators. Simple and user-friendly
operation of these machines is facilitated by the use of PLC's connected
to control keyboards and screens which give an immediate overall view of
the work being carried out. These machines are very
accurate and user-friendly but also robust and reliable,
and they can be converted into production presses, thus considerably
reducing the investment burden. Our research and development teams can
provide various solutions to turn one of these presses into a general-purpose machine.
Passive and/or active alignment control system
Our presses are equipped with a system that ensures the press
bolster and ram remain parallel.
These systems can be passive and/or active, much more accurate
positioning. The active systems allows also a:
• Position measurement by an absolute encoder.
• Measurement processing in the PLC.
• Control of hydraulic alignment.

PHD 2 000 (4 500 x 2 500 mm bolster).
This press is one of six identical machines spread over various sites belonging to a major car manufacturer. They fully satisfy the main criterion “to reduce tool setting time on production lines”. This very high technology press simulates laws of movement at the same rates as double or single action mechanical presses. These presses have the property of being the fastest we have ever built, with a performance of 500 mm/sec at 2 000 tons. As accessories they have two lateral rolling bolsters and a hydraulic bottom cushion with 8 thrust points. |
