These presses, which can be either C-frame presses
or Gantry style presses, are mainly used for straightening medium or thick sheet, section, tube or round bar. They can also be used for special bending, flattening, forming and punching operations. Using these machines produces considerable time saving compared with traditional heat withdrawal straightening techniques. In addition they provides the advantage of quiet fatigue-free working for the operator. All operations are done in complete safety.

PHC 350
The depth of its C-frame makes this press capable of straightening
large work pieces. The operator has very high sensitivity for sensing reaction points thanks to the touch control. His expertise will enable him to complete the part with the minimum of handling operations. |

PHR 3000
The largest straightening press built by BLISS to this day.
It has extremely impressive specifications:
• Bolster: 12 000 x 4 200 mm
• Cylinder: 2 x 1 500 T
• Max. tonnage: 3 000 T
• Overall weight: 350 T
Its function is straightening very thick sheet leaving a rolling mill. The operator protects himself from radiation from the slab at 600°C and moves with the double sided. Two descent speeds provide him with speed and accuracy.
